1. Begin by disconnecting the old throttle.
2. Remove the wire tidy located near the handlebars.
3. Loosen and remove the brake handle using a hex key.
4. Slide the new throttle into place.
5. Carefully strip and splice the loose ends of the cables together. Follow this sequence for cable connection: New cable (from the throttle) -> Old cable (existing bike wiring) Black -> Black, Red -> Red, Green -> Green, Blue -> Yellow, Yellow -> White, White -> Blue. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
6. Reattach the plug and test the new throttle, checking for heat and verifying the connections.
7. Position and secure the new throttle and brake components. Adjust slack in the head tube if needed and replace the wire tidy.
8. Reconnect any remaining wires and close the main bike housing securely.
